  Perfectly comfortable base for a long weekend on the IoW.

  Lovely open living space with well equipped kitchen and comfortable seating

  Small bath towels and no separate towels for hot tub. Only 1 pillow per person on the beds. Also no coffee machine or cafetière so if you like fresh coffee bring your own.

  Absolutely fantastic stay – we’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Myself and a group of friends have just come back from a long weekend at this fantastic property, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. From the moment we booked, Ashley was brilliant. She kept in regular contact with me before we arrived and sent really clear instructions for getting through the remote gate and into the property, which made everything really straightforward. The house itself is absolutely beautiful. There are three lovely double bedrooms, all with their own en-suite bathrooms, as well as another bedroom with two single beds and a separate bathroom just a short walk down the corridor. Every room was comfortable, clean and beautifully presented, and with eight of us staying, there wasn’t one complaint from anyone! The upstairs living area was probably one of our favourite parts of the house. It’s a fantastic big open-plan space, with a lovely kitchen and large island leading through to a big wooden dining table that comfortably seats eight. Then you have the really comfortable sofas, armchair and TV with Sky. It was the perfect space for all of us to sit together, eat, have a few drinks and relax in the evenings. And of course, the hot tub was a huge hit! Sitting in there with a drink, looking out over the beautiful countryside, was the perfect way to unwind. The views are gorgeous and the whole setting is really peaceful. The location worked perfectly for us too. We had no trouble getting taxis into both Newport and Cowes in the evenings, so we could head out for dinner and drinks without having to worry about driving. All eight of us absolutely loved our stay. The house is beautiful, comfortable and really well suited to a group, and Ashley was a fantastic host from start to finish. We genuinely didn’t want to leave and are already talking about coming back next year! We’ll definitely be looking to book another short stay here.

  Perfect place for a relaxing family holiday!

  Fantastic property in a beautiful rural location. Ideal accommodation for our family party of 6 plus dog. Amazing outside entertainment area with hot tub, and spacious garden for the dog. Very helpful host. Would highly recommend this property.

  Our only complaint was that the pillows were a bit too soft, needed two each or puffier ones. Otherwise nothing we didn't like.

  Had a great time, would stay again.

  Property was as shown in the pictures and very clean. Outside space was really useful for eating, drinking and playing. Hosts were very responsive to any questions we had.

  Couldn’t work out how to use the ice maker in fridge!

  We’ve stayed in many rental cottages and villas in the uk and abroad and this is definitely one of our favourites.

  Beautiful house in secluded, rural location but in a good position to reach everything on the island. Lovely vistas across open countryside. Secure garden for dogs. Super sunset views every evening. Upside down house provided lovely cool rooms for sleeping during hot weather. House equipped to a very high standard. Host responds very quickly to queries. We had the best time.

  We loved everything.
