    Very central

    I stayed here for 12 nights, this apartment has everything you could possible need including USB outlets in the bedside tables and a water filter jug. It is very centrally located and the hostess was very helpful.

    The only negative was the noise, as it's so central there is a lot of foot traffic and there is no double glazing. The restaurants further down have live music every night and the Cafe underneath is noisy early in the morning. Not great for light sleepers.

    Colombo Square, a Home in Madeira was the perfect accommodation for us in Funchal. One of its biggest advantages is the central location, which made it very easy to get everywhere. The apartment is equipped with absolutely everything we could have needed, and we really appreciated the attention to small details. Communication with the host was excellent. The mattress was also of very good quality, and we slept wonderfully, which we especially appreciated compared to other accommodations we stayed in Madeira. We highly recommend this place!

    One thing to keep in mind is that, because it is located in the city center, there is more noise at night from people passing by, and also during the day when the terraces are open. This wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s something to consider for anyone planning to spend more time at the accommodation.
