    We stayed 2 nights in Colombo Villa which is well located for the museums and Galle Face green, where we spent a lovely evening at the food markets. Lovely staff, pool and room - spacious and very clean with large beds both with mosquito nets. We didn't book breakfast, so can't comment, but found two lovely cafes within 5 min walk which served delicious food and coffee.

    Wunderschönes Hide-Away mitten in bester Lage

    Die großen Zimmer in der Kolonialstil-Villa sind perfekt für Familien. Der kleine, aber sehr schöne Pool liegt geschützt hinter dem Haus und bietet ringsum Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Mitarbeiter sind allesamt extrem aufmerksam und super im Umgang mit den Kindern. Liebevoll angerichtetes Frühstück wird für jeden individuell serviert - Obst, Eiervariationen, Pancakes,…

    Wenn man unbedingt etwas negatives finden will, dann vielleicht das Plexiglas Dach über dem Pool, dessen Sinn sich uns nicht erschlossen hat - außer evtl. der Schutz vor herabfallenden Betelnüssen :-)

    Prima uitvalsbasis om Colombo te verkennen

    Gelegen in fijn rustige wijk met prima bedden, behulpzaam personeel, verkoelend zwembad en ruime lobby. Op paar minuten lopen een ruime supermarkt.

    Voor Colombo niet heel duur, maar vergeleken met andere plekken in Sri Lanka erg prijzig.
