    Couldn’t ask for much. It ticked all the boxes.

    Yes, it lived up to the reviews. It is a three storey townhouse with roof terrace in great nick. We were there very early, prior to check-in, as our flight landed at 6am and we were offered drinks and breakfast on arrival and a place to freshen up as they rushed to get a room ready for us, hours in advance. The owner and staff were so accommodating and they really went above and beyond. Very kind and welcoming staff throughout the Retreat. Medium sized room but super comfortable with a great bed, fresh, new linen and a pillow menu. And a gorgeous bathroom.

    Nothing. All was perfect. Great breakfast. Complimentary afternoon tea and cake. Homemade cakes and jams/marmalade.

    Goed eten op het dakterras en prettige groene wijk.

    Gedeelde ruimte voor de kamer (en de kamer daardoor ook) rook erg sterk naar citronella muggenverjager.
