Great location and a lovely place for a one-night stay. We loved seeing the sheep in the backyard of the office and the beautiful gardens were lovely. Great playground for the kids, tho we never made it there. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our stay was comfortable and warm. We enjoyed our stay!

It is a little noisy with highway traffic, but nothing that made our stay uncomfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

    Overnight in Oamaru

A quiet, basic motel exactly where we needed it. Friendly, helpful host. Good cooking and parking.

The lighting is quite inadequate for any reading activity that isn't back lit. Non matching crockery and cutlery items are a frustration.
