We chose this accommodation mainly because of its proximity to Vesuvius National Park, and in that respect the location was very convenient. The room itself was generally fine, the bed was comfortable for me, and the cleanliness of the room was acceptable. Another positive point was the enclosed courtyard and the private parking area; we always found a parking space without any problem. The hosts seemed to be trying to help, and despite the issues we were still able to manage our stay.
The property was advertised as having a host who speaks both Italian and English, but unfortunately communication in English did not work well in practice. There were several problems with the bathroom: the toilet had no seat, even though it was clear that one had previously been fitted and the mounting points were still there; the washbasin tap could not be fully turned off and kept running; and the shower had not been properly cleaned, with hair from a previous guest still visible around the drain. I reported these issues, but the missing toilet seat was not resolved, which made using the bathroom uncomfortable. We were also unable to use the kitchenette because the door was locked. This was inconvenient, especially when travelling with a child, as it would have been useful to heat up some food. On the first morning we were told to go and have breakfast, but only afterwards did we find out that it cost €5 per person. Since we had already eaten, I paid, but the choice was very limited and consisted mainly of sweet items, so in my opinion it was not worth the price. I also bought coffee for myself, but from the following day the breakfast room was locked, so I could not prepare it. The rubbish in the room was only removed after I specifically asked for it.
