Beautiful spacious two story accommodations in the hillside of Matera
The location is ideal...perfectly situated within the Sassi (old city). Near to historic sights as well as great restaurants. The apartment itself is idyllic...carved into the hillside. A beautiful Matera accommodation that we would recommend to anyone!
Nothing we didn't like. This property (as is most of Matera) will be difficult for anyone who can't handle stairs. The apartment itself is up a flight of stairs and is two story (bedroom up and main level down). It worked fine for us but we can lug our bags as needed.
