    Terrible communication .

    Clean, nice beach nearby .

    The process of staying at this property , particularly in relation to communication from the staff was a disaster from start to finish . I would not stay here if you do not speak Japanese . It was nearly impossible to organise tours via the front desk , communicate or convey simple instructions . The most concerning aspect was that they did not communicate the incoming typhoon Champi and we had to hear proactively that if we did not leave the island in the coming day , we would need to seek shelter and stay inside the hotel , food would not be available . One would think that these are crucial factors that should be communicated to guests. While I acknowledge the politeness of the staff and their good intentions , the failure to communicate imminent danger , and to only surface this once asked , was extremely concerning.

    Bright & Cheery for an Enjoyable Holiday

    Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Hotel is well maintained with big car park even though we didn't drive on Ishigaki. Lobby is bright and cheery, setting up the mood for an enjoyable holiday. We like the cafe with free snacks and non alcoholic drinks where we can rest and have a drink after coming back from our trips. The breakfast buffet has a good spread of Japanese food that we enjoyed. Have to give special thanks 🙇 to their Brazilian receptionist💃 who helped with our check in and greeted and chat with us whenever we bumped into each other. She even managed to get us a taxi where Didi failed.
