MANAGER WAS HORRIBLE. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.
Breakfast was decent. It was nothing to brag about. Choices were good for breakfast. I liked that there was fresh fruit.
We booked online due to the power outages in this area. When we arrived, I was told that the manager had called and left me a message that there were not 2 rooms available and they could only let me rent 1 room. I complained and they decided they had another room but they could not give me two rooms for the price I was quoted online. I had to pay $40 more for one room per night and the room may be even higher by the weekend. The next morning, the manager was bamming on my door saying I should have checked out at 11 and the room was not rented to me for 3 nights, only 1 night. He told me that I had to leave the hotel, although I had rented the two rooms for 3 nights. I told him he was wrong and I needed to speak to the person whohandled our check in. She informed me that I could get the room for three nights but the rate would be highkler each night. It was a terrible experience. The manager said the room I was occupying was reserved for someone else who would be checking in that afternoon. THEY NEVER ACCEPTED THE ONLINE RESERVATION FOR THE TWO ROOM FOR THREE NIGHTS FOR THE RATE I WAS QUOTED ONLINE. THEY FINALLY DECIDED THAT I COULD STAY IN THE ROOM I OCCUPIED AND NOT HAVE TO LEAVE AFTER TALKING TO THE STAFF PERSON WHO CHECKED US IN. IT WAS MY SECOND WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. THIS WAS DUE TO A NATIONAL DISASTER AND AS IF THINGS WERE NOT BAD ENOUGH, THEY MADE THIS EXPERIENCE A NIGHTMARE.
