If there is any singular silver lining to mention, it was the exceptional seafood restaurant located right next door to the property. Stepping out of the hotel to enjoy a fresh, beautifully prepared meal provided a much-needed reprieve from an otherwise dismal experience. Regrettably, a great neighboring dinner cannot compensate for poor customer service, structural neglect, and subpar hygiene. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this hote
Deeply Disappointing Stay — A Façade of Hospitality Upon our arrival, I informed the front desk of a sudden change in our itinerary, requesting to shorten our three-night reservation to a single evening. The receptionist responded with unprovoked condescension, flatly refusing to adjust the reservation and insisting we would be penalized with the full three-night charge. She attributed this strictly to our third-party booking via Booking.com. When I confidently assured her that I would contact their customer service to resolve the matter, she grew increasingly obstinate, guaranteeing that a resolution was impossible. Fortunately, Booking.com handled the situation seamlessly and corrected the billing, completely undermining her dismissive claims. Unfortunately, the administrative incompetence was merely a prelude to a thoroughly disruptive night. At 2:00 AM, the building's fire alarm began blaring. When I contacted the front desk for clarification, the staff member casually informed me that there was no emergency, yet they possessed absolutely no timeline or plan for how to silence the system. This severe lack of operational oversight left us exhausted and deeply frustrated. The next morning, we attempted to salvage the stay with the complimentary "hot breakfast," which proved entirely unpalatable; a basic fast-food establishment would have offered a vastly superior meal. While the aesthetic of the lobby initially set a pleasant expectation, the accommodations themselves were a stark and unsettling contrast. The guest room was significantly neglected. The bathroom appeared dingy, featuring a recessed bathtub faucet surrounded by fractured tiles. Most egregiously, remnants of a previous guest’s shampoo or conditioner were still smeared on the bathtub ledge, raising serious questions regarding whether the room had even been sanitized prior to our check-in.
