    bad communication

    I stayed for two nights while passing through the city, but unfortunately, I had a very frustrating experience. My wife placed some orders to be delivered to the hotel. The courier records confirm the items were delivered, yet they completely disappeared. I spoke with three different staff members, and each gave me conflicting information. Eventually, the manager claimed that he received the packages himself and turned the driver away—which directly contradicts the delivery records. To make matters worse, when I requested security camera footage, the hotel said they couldn't provide it. What makes this inexcusable is that I took every precaution: I called the hotel on the day of delivery, sent an email, and messaged them through Booking.com to inform them that the packages would arrive under a different name than the reservation. The receptionist even assured me over the phone that they would keep the packages safe. Ironically, the manager claimed he rejected the delivery for that exact reason (the name mismatch), completely ignoring all my advance communications. I left my stay completely frustrated and out of pocket by $400.
