    UNREMARKABLE OVERALL

    I didnt like being issued a reservation and at check in room keys only to find someone was already occupied the room and had to wait a long period of time to be issued another room only to be given a subpar room compared to what I booked and paid for, unpon asking for a late check out, they didnt want to extend my checkout even to match the time lost for the oversight at check-in.

    Bad

    i liked that the hotel was pretty clean

    The staff, especially the manager was rude. I booked two rooms through booking .com , and my daughter did not get the message( very poor connectivity and internet.), and she booked a room through the hotel. We needed to cancel one room which we had extra. Booking.com was totally unhelpful, i was talking to an Ai assistant for half an hour. The hotel refused to cancel one room either through the hotel itself or through booking .com. We realized that we booked too many rooms well ahead of check-in, within fifteen minutes of booking. No one was helpful. As a result, I will not be using booking.com in the future( I have a genius 2 status, and i recently booked a trip to Paris for over 5k with them. After this incident, they lost my business. Not only wasn’t i able to speak to someone live, but they directed me to a site where i would be paying 2 dollars for a phone call and be signed up for a yearly subscription. It’s completely fraudulent and misleading. As far as the hotel, for someone working on the hospitality business, they were neither hospitable nor helpful.

    CLOSE TO WESTERN CAROLINA UNIVERSITY & Downtown Sylva.

    Our daughter attends WCU & they give you a student discount on your room. The rooms have always been very clean and cozy! Great coffee at 0630 breakfast. We wanted to stay there again for family weekend but they are booked! 💜💛
