  Absolutely recommend!

  Our stay was absolutely amazing! The villa is even more beautiful in person—everything is thoughtfully designed, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally well organized. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the pool is fantastic, and waking up surrounded by the orange trees felt like a dream. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was Despina. She is genuinely one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. We accidentally left our passports at the villa after checking out, and she went above and beyond by arranging for them to be sent all the way across the island to us. We can’t thank her enough for her kindness, generosity, and care. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate. The villa is stunning, and with a host like Despina, you couldn’t ask for a better experience. We would love to come back!

  Από τις καλύτερες διαμονές της ζωής μας!

  Τι να πεις για αυτό το κατάλυμα; Όλα Άριστα 10 και η Δέσποινα απλά υπέροχη. Δεν υπήρχε κάτι που δεν ήταν τέλειο. Ο,τι και να ζητήσει ένας επισκέπτης είναι διαθέσιμο. Από μαγειρικά σκεύη και σερβίτσια εξαιρετικής ποιότητας μέχρι πλυντήριο-στεγνωτήριο. Το σπίτι είναι φτιαγμένο με τα καλύτερα υλικά και φαίνεται ξεκάθαρα ότι κάποιος έχει ξοδέψει χρόνο και χρήμα για να φτιαχτούν όλα αυτά στην εντέλεια. Το πρωινό και το προσωπικό υπέροχο! Εύγε! Βρεθήκαμε στο Conte Marino από σπόντα, μετά από εξαιρετικά δυσάρεστη εμπειρία από άλλο κατάλυμα στο Ηράκλειο και ειλικρινά ίσως ισχύει τελικά αυτό που λένε «κάθε εμπόδιο σε καλό», γιατί η διαμονή μας εκεί ήταν ό,τι καλύτερο. Το συστήνω με κλειστά μάτια! Ps: Σε αυτό το κρεβάτι έκανα τον καλύτερο ύπνο της ζωής μου!

  Architecturally breathtaking with luxe home comforts in a beautiful setting

  We had an exceptional stay at Conte Marino Villas in Maleme. The villas are stunning in their architectural design, blending modern elegance with traditional Cretan touches. Everything is so well thought out for the guests’ comfort, from the spacious interiors to the beautifully organised outdoor areas, it feels like every detail has been carefully considered. The villas are equipped with every luxury you could want, making it a perfect place to relax in style. Maleme is a peaceful base, but you do need a car to really enjoy all that Crete has to offer, from beaches and mountain drives to Chania’s old town. The highlight of our stay was the owner’s warm hospitality. Despina was attentive, thoughtful, and clearly dedicated to making sure guests have the best possible experience. That personal touch made all the difference. A truly memorable stay, we highly recommend Conte Marino Villas for anyone seeking a luxurious and well-organised holiday base in Crete with a touch of magic.

  AMAZING! Class & comfort combined

  Let's start with our host Despina: what a wonderful lady! She welcomed us with open arms (literally!) and gave us a grand tour of our villa Alivia. She explained the art work, architecture, the love her and her husband had put into building these homes and it showed! To top it off, we received a big welcome package filled with treats, honey and olive oil! Then the villa itself, a home away from home. It is even better than the pictures in real life! Comfort and class combined. There were days we didn't even leave the villa as it has all that you need. Breakfast was also carefully prepared by a chef and with delicious variety every day. Location: ideally placed within a 5 min drive from Platanias beaches and restaurants. Luxury beach clubs 15min drive away. A small supermarket at walking distance and a lidl 5min drive away. Chania less than 30min drive away. Recommend hiking Rikko Gorge only 30min drive away. STUNNING! In the villa itself you can see the sunset beautifully from the terrace upstairs. Eventhough you are so close to liveliness, the villa itself is located in a quiet street so we slept like babies. We also loves the local restaurant (8min walk away) so much, we dined there 2 out of the 4 nights! I stayed with my partner and some friends for 4 nights and we wish we stayed longer. But we will surely return. Thank you Despina for your hospitality. We look back at our stay with beautiful memories.
