    Really enjoyed my stay here

    It’s easy walking distance from the train station and the bus station. Also to bars and restaurants and the Promenade.

    Wouldn't stay here unless you like the smell of sewage & not being able to open windows where needed

    The flat was comfortable, clean & very central to transport, shops, cafe's, etc. We'd booked for 7 days as it was a central point for places to visit lots of places, including the Isles of Scilly.

    The flat unfortunately had a bad sewage smell from the shower drainage hole. Windows in the bedroom & bathroom could not be opened & the bathroom door wouldn't close properly-swollen from dampness. The bathroom was attached to the bedroom, which made it very unpleasant & sleeping uncomfortable. We gave up after staying only 3 1/2 days & went home bitterly disappointed. The hosts were sent x2 emails & a text message explaining our problem. After 2 weeks & still no reply or explanation, we decided to put this onto the review site with regret. We'd saved up hard & were really looking forward to lovely holiday celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary. What a disappointment for such a lovely flat.

    First impressions last …

    Comfortable bed and pillows Good shower Comfortable settee

    First impressions last a front door disgusting Lobby and stairs needs a good clean and painting The location was rather noisy No toilet roll holder The stairs (but I did know it was first floor) View out of the bedroom Shower slippy could do with a mat and water spills out into towel / floor A new set of cutlery and knives needed. No scissors
