    Nice place in a great city

    Nice property. Friendly staff.

    There is only a hotel name’s sign in front of the hotel. No sign on the main street( the hotel is on a pedestrian street with no possibility to park or drive in front of the hotel). A better signaling would be very helpful

    Comfortable, well located and excellent staff

    The property is located in the Sassi area. Easy walk to cafes and bars, and sightseeing. Built in a traditional stone home with sweeping views from the terrace of Matera and the walking trail in the distance. Our room was well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff are fantastic. Sharon greeted us for check in, she was very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable before leaving. Breakfast was included and was served on the lower terrace area. The staff made delicious coffee and baked eggs for us. Plus a selection of cakes, fruit and yoghurt.
