Perfect little BnB in the heart of Malta

Traditional Maltese house converted into a bnb and the interior was beautiful. Rooms were very clean and bed very, very comfortable. Bathroom was on the stairs which we didn’t mind. Breakfasts were pastries which were filling and served us well. Sonia even made us a very filling packed lunch as we had a very early morning flight. Agnes showed us round the area and was helpful too. Property is close to the ferry for Valletta and bus stop is close too. Thank you for a lovely break 🥰

Nothing really - perhaps a towel change would have been nice.

The room was all new and clean. The staff was super nice, a cozy vibe and a great breakfast.

The walls were paper thin and the room pretty small. The cabinets and drawers had boxes of appliances and not used handles in them so we had to put them somewhere else to fit our stuff. We also had a different location ordered then we got (no extra pay) but we had it a little further to the bus, boat and every time we had to climb uphill to get back to our room. Not a big deal but it doesn't make your day better either.

To be honest, our accommodation on the first day of our stay in Malta did not quite live up to our expectations. Everything looked much more attractive in the photos. That said, the location is excellent. Now for the details. The private bathroom was located one floor below the room. The room itself was so old and worn that we were almost afraid to touch anything. The air conditioning was not working, so there was a rather impressive portable cooling machine in the room, which made an incredible amount of noise. The choice was simple: sleep with the noise and enjoy some cool air, or have peace and quiet but a room that quickly became very hot. The room was also so small that the only place where we could open our suitcase was on the bed. We are seasoned travellers and have seen all kinds of accommodation, so we decided to take these little inconveniences with a good sense of humour. And, above all, there is a lovely girl named Agnese working there. Her wonderful breakfasts, attentiveness and great tact made up for many of the inconveniences. Without her and Sonia, the other member of staff, these “little things” would have felt very different indeed. A big thank you to these wonderful members of staff!
