  Perfect location. Shop next door. Chinese and two pubs across the road. Fabulous greek food served in the Plough. Didn’t

  Great little extras added like milk in the fridge and sweets on the coffee table. Everything had been thought about. Cute village location within easy reach of the city centre

  Exceptional stay, loved every minute and would definitely stay again

  Loved the property, we will definitely be back. All the little touches make a huge difference, a basket with breakfast products, chocolates in the bedroom plus it was beautiful inside and very clean plus the host was lovely.

  A comfortable stay in a peaceful village.

  Nettleham is a nice quiet village on the outskirts of Lincoln. The property is a little quirky in that it is situated on the first floor above a business (this is fine, since there is no activity outside business hours). The location is in the centre of the village, so the pub and shops are within walking distance, and the village itself makes for a very pleasant stroll around the various footpaths and along the stream and ford. The accommodation is very well equipped, so we did not want for anything during our short stay. Lincoln was only a few minutes drive away.

  The property has sash windows, which is nice, but not the best at reducing noise from traffic outside.
