    Uncomfortable

    plastic & wire seats. Very unconfutable beds. Back lawn not cut. Very uncomfortable sofa. Generally not suitable for any person other than construction workers. Only double bed much too small for 2 people. Would not go there again. Nails found in washing machine.

    Location was really good for what we needed and free parking in bespoke area was an bonus. Host was very responsive and instructions on how to access the property were clear and accurate. Good wifi. Linens and towels were clean and mostly good quality.

    The house is a bit dated and could do with some tlc and repairs. It's clear that at some point a lot of thought had gone into it. Cleanliness was a major issue. Although the upstairs was spotless, the kitchen utensils were rather gross. We had to wash everything before use. One wine glass still had a bit of solidified dark liquid at the bottom. Plates had finger marks everywhere. Kitchen in general wasnt well fitted. Only wine glasses and a couple of pint ones. 3 mugs for 4 guests, 2 of which chipped. Mismatched plates, some chipped. It didnt look like downstairs had been dusted before our stay. One of the living room chairs was broken, which we discovered on sitting. Listing promises toiletries that weren't there, food items that weren't there (no jam, no cereal, open pack of biscuits). That is obviously not a major thing and most places don't offer that, but why setting up expectations. The listing made the property sound like a boutique place, which certainly isn't.
