  Book this one with your eyes wide open!

  This is an open plan bedroom and kitchen, with the only bathroom leading out of the central bedroom. It is beautifully decorated, and feels like a self-catering hotel. The lights are beautiful, the furniture very pretty, the bed is comfortable and the view from the undercover seating overlooking the nearby hills are very pretty. It is so beautiful, that you are not allowed to wear your shoes inside the room. There is a lovely air conditioner, and it works

  Our dog and her safety is our top priority, and it is what we focus on with every booking. The advert for this property is misleading. 1. You do not have the ENTIRE PLACE. This is a small cottage on someone's property, where they live. 2. There is NO secure, private space for the dog. There is a thorn-filled encampment where the dog can be walked, but the gates do not close, so she had to be on leash 100 % of our stay. 3. There is a photo showing a pool and sliding doors opening onto the pool - THAT IS NOT THIS ROOM. The pool belongs to the owners, and as a guest you (not your dog) are permitted to access their pool area. 4. This property is on a National road, and is very busy and noisy, with lots of barking dogs around. 5. I know this is a small thing, but on top of everything else, it is just too much. Along with the booking, you are charged 2 Euro per person per day tourist tax - which you pay with the booking. Before your stay and throughout your stay, there are messages reminding you to pay the tourist tax in cash before departure. 6. When I requested a cancellation and refund upon realising the situation of the property, I was going to be charged 190 Euro cancellation fee

  Lovely and relaxing, shame about the dogs

  The facilities, and swimming pool

  Nothing regarding the property but there were several dogs barking every night with meant we had disturbed sleep

  Bardzo ładny domek z tarasem. Czysto. Piękny widok na wzgórza. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Na miejscu ładny basen, parking. Zaraz obok obok bistro z pysznym, lokalnym jedzeniem.

  Bardzo słabe Wifi. W środku ciemno, słabe żarówki.

  Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, herzlich was ich von ihrem Mann nicht behaupten kann.Das Bett sehr bequem, was uns sehr genervt hat war das Grosse Duvet, 2Einzelne wären sehr empfehlenswert.Das Wasser konnte man vom Han trinken,Lage an der Straße war nicht optimal und viel Hundegebell.Wir sahen die Besitzer eigentlich nie🤔ausser beim Checkin, einmal hatten wir ein Problem und klopften an ihre Haustüre worauf er sehr genervt öffnete.Ansonsten sehr liebevoll eingerichtet.

  Aan de Algarve lag het niet

  De keuken was goed ingericht en de gehele woning was schoon. De eigenaren laten de achtergelaten aangeschafte spulletjes van vorige huurders in de woning staan. Dat is een pré, je hoeft dus niet een fles afwasmiddel te kopen voor een weekje of een potje kruiden. Dat staat er allemaal al. Erg prettig. De woning is zeer compleet.

  De advertentie geeft geen goed beeld van de woning. De woning is onderdeel van een complex van in totaal 3 huuraccomedaties + de woning van de eigenaren. Twee daarvan grenzen direct aan een practige tuin met zembad (dat je moet delen met de iedereen waaronder ook de eigenaren). De farmhouse grenst helaas niet aan die tuin. De farmhouse heeft geen tuin en ligt iets van het complex af. De farmhouse heeft alleen een stenen terrasje met een gaashek waar je onvermijdelijk steeds tegenaaan kijkt. Achter dat gaashek ligt een stukje verwilderde grond. Vonden wij geen prettig uitzicht en we zaten dan ook niet graag voor het huisje. De doorgaande weg die pal aan het farmhouse ligt gaf ons veel overlast (!), zeker geen rustige plek. De handoeken die je krijgt moet je het hele verblijf mee doen of je moet 30 euro betalen voor een schoon setje. Dat vonden wij erg vreemd. Omdat je niet een week met handoeken doet hebben we die zelf maar gewassen. Allemaal prima, maar de advertentie (en foto's) suggereren toch echt anders. De doucheput was sinds dag 1 verstopt (ik las dat een andere huurder daar ook al melding van had gemaakt). Deden ze niets aan. We konden dus niet normaal douchen omdat de boel steeds overstroomde. In de keuken én in de badkamder zaten steeds rioolvliegjes (motjes). Erg onsmakelijk. Er is geen sprake van kamers. Het is één grote ruimte waar je in verblijft. We hebben ons vermaakt, maar de enorme lovende recenties van anderen delen wij niet. Verre van idyllisch, wij voelen ons redelijk misleid en hadden spijt van de keuze.
