    The apartment itself was nice and comfortable, and the stay was generally pleasant. However, I am giving this place 1 star on principle because of the checkout requirements. The hosts sent me a WhatsApp message instructing me to wash all the dishes, take out the trash, and clean up before leaving. I find this completely unacceptable. I came here to relax, not to do housekeeping. Cleaning the apartment after guests is the host's responsibility, not mine. Having to stand and wash dishes at 1 a.m. before my taxi arrived, and then having to search for a specific trash container because I wasn't even allowed to use the bins in front of the building, was a very frustrating way to end my stay. If you expect guests to clean the apartment themselves, this should be made very clear before booking. In my opinion, this is not an acceptable expectation, especially when guests are already paying for accommodation that should include cleaning after checkout.
