Beautiful, private cottage with mill stream, pond and views. 5 minutes from walks on Bodmin Moor.
Beautifully renovated mill house, very comfortable, with balcony to the living room, a games room on the lower floor, and double bedroom on the top floor. Front door access via the ground floor (games room) or from the first floor (as it's on a slope). Plenty of room to turn a car around. The hosts were very friendly and had stocked the kitchen with best quality milk, butter, bread, biscuits, coffee and spreads - which was very much appreciated. Location is easy to find. A drive of 5 minutes brings you to the Cheesewring, free parking, on Bodmin Moor, from where moorland walks in many directions begin.

Wir waren überwältigt von der warmen und sehr herzlichen Gastfreundschaft von Sue und Will, die uns das Haus perfekt vorbereitet übergeben haben. Es fühlte sich von der ersten Minute an wie Urlaub bei Freunden, obwohl wir uns vorher noch nie gesehen hatten.

Super freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die die gemütliche Unterkunft mit Leidenschaft und Umsicht führt. Der persönliche Kontakt war im Vorfeld als auch vor Ort unkompliziert und effizient. Bei Anreise war der Kühlschrank und andere Vorräte bereit aufgefüllt (leckere selbstgemachte Marmelade). Die Balkon ist genial: groß und bietet einen wunderschönen Blick zum Frühstück bzw. in den nächtlichen Sternenhimmel. Dankeschön für den unvergleichlichen Aufenthalt, liebe Gastgeber!

Beautiful watermill, in beautiful countryside with top hosts
We liked everything about this property, starting with the great communications with the host, their welcome gift of provisions for our stay, the immaculate interior & accessories in the watermill & the grounds surrounding the site. Location is perfect for visiting North or south coasts of Cornwall, or just relax on the deck & enjoy the peaceful nature of the venue. There is nothing the owners haven't thought of, to make this property a home away from home. If there was a rule book on how to create the perfect holiday home, then Sue & Will have taken it to the next level...Gold standard level 5 stars 🌟
