  Really enjoyed it apart from the house being chilly.

  The cottage was clean and in a superb location although a little difficult to find as tucked away down a small lane. Our host was lovely as we had to contact them late in the evening of arrival to get verbal directions to find the cottage.

  The cottage was cold with the heating locked at 18 degrees. There was no way of drying our damp clothes from the inclement weather, sitting on the evenings was not enjoyable as rather chilly so maybe a small fan heater of some kind would have been nice.

  Spacious accommodation requiring some TLC

  Large space, main bedroom large, comfortable bed.

  Outside really needs a clear up, weeds everywhere makes it look very rundown which it isn’t really. Biggest issue we had was the fact that the heating is totally locked from use by tenants therefor every time we were cold we had to contact the owners who turned it on remotely. As the temperature did drop a lot while we were there, it was an issue for us. In the kitchen it would be nice to have lids on the sauce bins and to have enough cooking utensils to actually make a meal, i.e. big spoons for cooking with et cetera. Although superficially clean the space on the sofas between the cushions was absolutely full of animal fur and debris.

  Really good, we traveled far and wide and also enjoyed walking around and discovering the town.

  Ease of entry. Prompt communication. Comfortable bed and pillow. Great shower. Car park brilliant.

  No washing machine but there is a public automatic washer and dryer in the supermarket car park.
