Sadly only had 2 nights in the area as up for a funeral but the cottage was very comfortable and clean and the bottle of wine, milk and sourdough bread was a lovely welcoming treat.

Belmont Cottage Middleton
Pleasant cottage in a village near Matlock. Nice bedrooms, well fitted kitchen.
The main drawback was in the bathroom being on the ground floor. The cottage was quite small and really only big enough for 2 despite having 2 double bedrooms. It is on the main road through the village on a steep hill with only street parking. The sofa and chair had seen better days and really needed replacing.

Perfect stay near Cromford.
The fact it was clean, well resourced, nicely decorated and comfortable. A lovely welcome pack was provided.
The only downside was having the shower downstairs, with bedrooms upstairs.
