    Our room exceeded our expectations! The spa in our room was the perfect way to wind down after a long day of driving, with a lovey lavender bath gel supplied for a luxurious bubble experience (warning; add a small amount to the bath as it fills then determine how much more is needed. We were glad we did as there is potential to be overwhelmed by bubbles!🫧) The little kitchenette was well supplied with tea, coffee and chocolate options. The beds were comfortable and in the morning we discovered our room opened into a lovely private little courtyard, which unfortunately we didn’t have time to make use of. Located close to the lake, the complex is on the main road into Taupo, however we weren’t disturbed by road noise. We enjoyed the location, being just a short drive into town. We would have liked to have stayed longer had circumstances been different!

    Great place!

    It was all great. The view as expected and the comfort level Especially liked the little balcony.

    The stairs were very steep.
