Disappointing. A larger bed and replaced mattress would help, plus a bit more TLC would help.
The location is fair, but the setting is better: overlooking the village green with a coffee shop/post office alongside, and good village pub on the other side of the green. Kitchen is well equipped, although very dated, and the oven glass needed cleaning (we didn't actually use this, or most of the facilities). Owners responded quickly.
Very steep and narrow, twisting staircase. "Double" bed was very narrow, which lead to disturbed sleep and, ultimately, using the single bed which sagged. Bathroom is very small. Stale milk and butter in the fridge, and two dirty towels hanging around, which we reported to the owners. They responded quickly to remove the towels, but the milk bottle was left for us to dispose of (we had already disposed of the butter).

La situation du logement, son environnement dans un charmant village, des promenades dans champs et bois en sortant de la maison, un super pub de l'autre côté ee la place, une vraie atmosphère de vacances ! La disponibilité et la gentillesse de notre hôtesse, Le confort et le charme authentique de ce joli cottage...
Nous avons tout apprécié, rien à redire. Juste peut etre une suggestion : mettre un plaid à disposition pour une belle soirée tv ou un petit déjeuner dans le jardin

Excellent Cottage On The Green
What a beautiful little cottage, in a wonderful location. The facilities were excellent and despite its small size it felt perfectly spacious for the two of us. The kitchen was excellent, and fully equipped. The lounge was lovely and cosy with a beautiful fireplace with a logburner. Village green location. We parked up and didn't use the car for the duration of our stay. .
