Convenient and comfortable but noisy
The cottage was very comfortable. The location was convenient to experience both the Redwoods and the ocean. The staff were friendly. It was fun being able to have our dogs with us. The continental breakfast was very generous.
The inn is literally located on River Road which is like a rural highway. Lots of traffic and trucks. Very noisy. So this place isn't the best for noise sensitive people.

Great little getaway
Like a secret garden. Very clean cottages. Pretty grounds. Nice staff good breakfast generous
We were there Wednesday nt and our room was by the main road and the garbage people came...Holy moly was it loud..I thought the place was crashing down. The main road sounded like a freeway...but then as the nightgown later the traffic noise did subside.

A wonderful find. Cosy cottages set in wonderful gardens with a nice pool and a fire pit.
The lady at reception was very welcoming and friendly. Our cottage was lovely - two double bedrooms, and a large living room with fridge and coffee machine. We enjoyed the pool and loved the fire pit with the ingredients for S'mores provided. Breakfast was very nice with home made quiche, delicious muffins and bagels Great location over the road from a riverside bar with a huge terrace
Disposable plates and cutlery were used for breakfast which seemed so wasteful and damaging to the planet.
