As you enter the village of Stara Kapela, you are immediately transported a hundred years ago in time. The property Country House Stara Kapela is absolutely stunning. It is one of a kind spots. The surrounding of the house, and the house itself is stunning. Communication with the owner Josip was spot on. Slavonian hospitality at its finest! Following morning we met his wife too and she was very nice and accommodating. Nothing but highest praises for the property and the village, and the owners of course!

Sve je vrhunsko! Čistoća, namještaj, uređenost i opskrbljenost apartmana, ljubaznost i susretljivost domaćina. Vrt i dvoriste iz slikovnice. Sve preporuke za boravak! Nadam se da ćemo i mi ponovo doći.

A memorable stay
Coming to this place felt like finding yourself in a fairy tale, where time stands still. After a long day of driving, this is the perfect stay, as it is quiet, peaceful and beautiful, and relatively close to the highway. The host is exceptionally kind and warm-hearted. He offered us welcome drinks, helped us with ordering food, and made us feel really welcome. The house and surroundings have retained its authentic look and feeling. Overall, it is a unique experience and we'll definitely come again.

A true hidden jem!
Staying in the village felt like stepping into a fairytale. The house is super cosy, charming, and quiet—the perfect place to relax. It’s also very conveniently located near the highway, making it an ideal stop if you’re just passing through. The host was exceptionally nice and treated us to wine and beer upon arrival, and the restaurant in the village was super delicious! A real hidden gem, we can’t wait to come back!
That we spent only a night there.
