    We had to cancel our stay. After making reservations that showed a pool on line, we were told there was no pool at check in. Our money was kept after we were told it would be refunded. We made our reservation the day before our stay and was told they could not refund because we did not give a two day notice. We were unable to get them to understand that we had just made the reservation the day before. Then we were told, sorry, we cannot help you. Okemos is where we had lived for 35 years. I was so disappointed to be treated this way by a local business. We brought our granddaughter there for a special night of pool time, and memories with us and it only got worse after our money was kept. The advertisement showed a pool. The man and woman attending the counter even commented, yes, it shows a pool but we do not have one. We left hoping we could find another room on no notice as our granddaughter was standing there listening to this disappointing conversation. We have nothing good to share or share in the community we are very involved with.

    Clarity in advertisement and honesty in refunding our money.
