    We stayed for a wedding event and were extremely displeased from the start; the staff, room, and overall stay fell far s

    The location was central and close to amenities.

    From check-in through the wedding setup, Patty, who was involved with coordinating the event, was consistently rude and dismissive toward members of our group. We also had several issues with our room. We reserved a king room advertised with a pull-out sofa and specifically confirmed at check-in that it had one, only to find there was no pull out sofa. This became especially problematic when a member of our group’s separate reservation was unexpectedly canceled and she temporarily needed to stay with us. We were given a cot, but it took a significant amount of time to arrive, the mattress was visibly dirty, and it came with only one sheet, blanket, and pillow. We requested additional bedding because of the mattress condition, but it also took hours to receive it. We were also placed in an ADA-accessible room despite not requesting one. We were traveling with our 4-year-old son, and the lower deadbolt was within his reach and could be operated by him, creating an unexpected safety concern. The next morning, most of the advertised café coffee drinks were also unavailable due to an equipment issue. While minor on its own, it added to an already frustrating stay. Between the poor customer service, incorrect room information, missing sleeping accommodations, dirty cot and delayed bedding, and safety concern with our room, the experience did not match what we reserved or expected.
