    DECEPCIONANTE

Extremely disappointing and stressful experience. I do not recommend this accommodation. I booked this property because the advertised price was around €425, and that was one of the main reasons I chose it. After booking, I was charged around €500+, including the cleaning and service fees, which I accepted without any problem. However, two days before check-in, I checked my Booking.com messages and found information stating that I was supposed to be charged an additional €600, supposedly for a “service fee.” I had not actually been charged this amount, but the message clearly stated that I was supposed to be charged. According to the property, this fee was €50 per person per day. For two people staying six days, that would total €600 — meaning the fee itself was more expensive than the accommodation. I immediately contacted the property to ask what this ridiculous and unexplained charge was. I made it clear that if I was genuinely required to pay this amount, I did not want to continue with the stay and wanted to cancel before check-in. The response from the property was extremely unprofessional and rude. Instead of replying properly by email, so that everything could be documented, the woman contacted me through a WhatsApp call and repeatedly insisted that I had to pay the €600, claiming that this information was clearly stated in the listing and that I should have known about it. If this had actually been clear to me when I made the reservation, I obviously would never have booked the property in the first place. I repeatedly asked her to communicate with me by email so that everything would be properly documented, but she continued to be rude and unhelpful. And here is another extremely concerning detail: during the WhatsApp conversation, she told me that she would check with her team to find out why I had not been charged the €600, because, according to her, this amount was supposed to have been charged when I paid for the booking.

Very central, spacious with unique extras.

Very central location. Super spacious. Overall functional facilities. Cool extras like the billiard table and popcorn machine. Very nice automatic coffee machine with good coffee provided. Great TV and luxuriously large sofa.

We’re really not sensitive to noise, but at night and in the early morning there were very disruptive noises—delivery trucks being unloaded with incredible racket, etc. Although fairly recently renovated, the apartment has old metal windows with single-pane glass that aren’t soundproof, and drafty. WiFi stuttering at times.

Superb first impression for central location next to the Boerentoren

The entrance gives you a Wow moment, as there is a spacious kitchen with an island, pool table, dining table and sizeable settee with huge windows beyond. The location was really convenient for accessing the many attractions of Antwerp - it looks over teh Boerentoren which is due to be refurbished in the near future.

It's a bit tired. The windows are single glazed and as they are three stories up, I guess they are tough to clean. It's the curtains that are most in need of TLC - more than half of the plastic sliding hooks have perished which means it's impossible to close the curtains to keep the heat in & light out (although it was warm enough) It can also be a little noisy overnight.

Konumu harikaydı, her yere kolayca ılaşım sağlanıyor
