    Slightly expensive but worth it, very conveniently located.

    It's location location location innit. Just a few minutes walk from St Magnus Cathedral and the main shopping area. The property itself lives up to its name - it was so warm that I was there for several days before noticing the main heating was off (and it switched on entirely happily). All the facilities you need for a shortish stay, I've stayed here several times before and doubtless will do so again. Also they have interesting artwork. Not so sure about the images of cows (but cows are an Orkney obsession). There is what seems to be an oil painting of a sailing ship on the stairs. Image attached. And yes the questions on this review reminded me that I've forgotten to visit Scapa Beach. Again.

    Most enjoyable, very Quiet and very relaxing accomadation

    Centrally located appt, easy to find very clean and comfortable bed comfortable so very happy with accomadation oh and view of Cathedral Spire out of window

    Stairs a bit steep handrail could be better if it was a bit higher
