The accommodation itself was basically as described in the listing. It was simple but okay considering the low price. However, it is worth noting that the bathroom and toilet were separate and located in another building. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the host’s attitude. I have honestly never encountered such a rude and condescending host in all my years of travelling. When I called, I was spoken to in a very dismissive and patronising manner and was told off for calling, with the host telling me that I should simply read the message instead.

I completely understand that hosts may prefer guests to communicate by message, especially if the information has already been provided. However, there is a polite way to say this. The tone used with me was unnecessarily rude and hurtful. If someone works in tourism and finds it so irritating when guests call or have questions, perhaps they should reconsider either the way they communicate with guests or whether hospitality is the right profession for them. The accommodation itself was acceptable for the price, but the host’s behaviour unfortunately left a very negative impression and significantly affected our overall experience
