  Come here if you want sleepless nights

  The property is very beautiful, everything is clean and they provide towels/shower gel/ shampoo. The housekeeper is nice and the pool has a shower. The AC works well.

  We usually love Sri Lanka and have always met the kindest people here. But this was by far the worst night of our trip. After we paid for our stay, the “boss” apparently felt free to do whatever he wanted. On our second night, they threw a large house party with about 10–15 guests, extremely loud music, drinking, smoking, cooking, moving furniture, karaoke, and shouting late until 5am in the morning. The rooms are so noisy — you hear everything happening in the kitchen and living room and outside as if it were inside your room. Even after we politely asked them SIX! times to turn down the music—explaining we had a flight back to Europe the next morning and one of us had food poisoning- they completely ignored us. At first, we were kind and said they could continue for another hour, but the party went on. What made it worse is that we couldn’t even use the terrace we paid for because the hosts and their guests occupied it completely from 4pm on. I know it’s your property, there can be other guests and and of course you can use it however you want, but if you plan to throw parties till 5am, don’t host paying guests—or at least ask first. We would’ve gladly found an agreement. I rarely write bad reviews and have met only kind and respectful people in this country. But this was unacceptable and extremely disappointing. A wonderful place completely spoiled by terrible behaviour. avoid if you value peace and basic respect.
