Spacious apartment, but the location and overall condition were disappointing.
Spacious apartment with a large sofa, a desk, and a standard kitchen. The front door is reinforced, and there is a fairly long balcony. There was also a bakery right downstairs, which was very convenient.
I honestly cannot recommend this apartment based on our experience. Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing from the moment we arrived by car. The surrounding buildings were very run-down, covered in graffiti, and generally very dirty. There were also many old, poorly maintained cars around the building, so for peace of mind we decided to leave our car in a 24/7 monitored parking garage rather than under the apartment. The inside of the building was in a similar condition, and the apartment itself was not particularly clean. We had to clean the bathroom ourselves as we were not confident it had been properly cleaned. The bed sheets were also visibly unironed, which was disappointing. We ended up sleeping on our own towels for peace of mind. The balcony has no divider from the neighbouring apartment, meaning that someone could potentially access the bedroom quite easily. The apartment is also directly above a metro station, so the trains can be heard and felt until around midnight. I was even woken up by the vibration of a train arriving. Unfortunately, we also felt that the area was genuinely unsafe. We witnessed a young man climb over the metro station fence, get onto a shop sign, and then climb over a balcony wall to steal a skateboard, while his friend laughed and everyone else seemed completely indifferent. What made this even more concerning was that the balcony he climbed onto was right next to ours. The metro station was also full of people begging and several people who appeared to be struggling with drug addiction, making the whole area feel particularly uncomfortable. Based on our experience, the area felt extremely neglected and unsafe. We had originally booked four nights but decided to leave after just two, speeding up our sightseeing to make the most of the remaining time.
