    Inishturk is gorgeous! The view of the Mayo and Galway mountains, the rich and rareness of the place, the sea stacks and the beach... all wonderful... all worth a visit!

    A perfect island retreat, blending warm modern living with incredible views and hospitality

    We loved everything about our stay in this brilliant cottage on Inishturk. From the friendly welcome and pick up and drop off by Mary, to the perfectly laid out, warm and spacious cottage, the location - on the island walking route, next to the lagoon but a little out of the main harbour area, to get that sense of escapism - and most of all the incredible panoramic views. We loved playing board games as a family, looking out at the weather rolling in and then out again. As ever, you run outside to explore when the sun peeks through, and get to exploring the island before the weather turns. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return in another season. Thank you Mary and all involved in setting up these community cottages!
