    My worst ever Booking.com experience

    Good location. Nice decor. Good parking.

    Only enough bedding for one on arrival. Extra bedding was supplied within two hours. Possibly my worst ever experience on Booking.com. Payment was not made through Booking.com but we had to send it privately to the rental company’s account. My initial thoughts were that it was a scam. However, I made payment once they had sent me a proper invoice (which I had to ask for). I’ve never experienced this before with Booking.com. I’ve always made payment through the portal and not privately. I can honestly say that I won’t do this again. It felt very insecure. In the apartment was a book of instructions written entirely in German. We spent ages translating into English. One of the things they expected us to do when we leave was strip the bedding and sweep the floors! My suggestion to the rental company is that they ask their Cleaner to do it. In England, this is not something we do. This is why cleaners are employed. We also had to recycle rubbish which was not a problem other than the fact we had no idea where to take it. We asked the rental company on our day of departure but they did not reply. Fortunately, we found somewhere in the town near the co-op where we could dispose of it. I use Booking.com about 10 times a year and have done for many years now. This is by far my worst experience. If you’re English, I would not suggest you come here. You will not be welcome.

    Falls wir wieder in der Gegend Urlaub machen würden, würden wir wohl wieder diese Unterkunft buchen.

    Unterkunft war gut gelegen, sauber, mit allem ausgestattet.

    Regenwasser der oberen Etagen tropft auch länger nach dem Regen noch mitten auf die Terrasse
