I highly recommend this place. Value for money.
The location was perfect. The view from the patio is amazing with so much bird. The farm house was built in the 18h00 and so spacious. Loved the play room for the kids. Garden is nice and big for the kids to have fun and adults. Bonus that there is a dishwasher and fresh farm milk in the fridge.
You must remember that it is a working farm, so it is busy and a lot of activity. But it did not worry us.

Our stay felt like travelling back in time — in the best possible way! The beautiful old farmhouse had so much character and charm, and everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The lovely old wstoep was the perfect place to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, There was more than enough space, and we were generously provided with plenty of wood for the whole weekend. The fireplaces in each room and the extra heaters were a real blessing during the cold weekend and made the house feel warm and cosy. The fresh milk and eggs from the farm were such a thoughtful and special touch and really added to the experience. We absolutely loved our stay and had such a wonderful, relaxing weekend. A beautiful old farmhouse, peaceful surroundings, great braai facilities and all the little touches that made us feel right at home. We would definitely come back!
I honestly have nothing negative to say about our stay. If anything, one small addition we would have loved would be a little book, framed story, or portrait in the house sharing some of the history of the farmhouse and the property. I asked about the history during our stay and was fascinated by the story — it was such an interesting historical read! With the beautiful old farmhouse and all its character, I think having some of that history available for guests to discover would be a really lovely addition and make the experience even more special.
