Crystal Meadows was a wonderful re-set experience. It delivered on all of our expectations.
Our stay at Crystal Meadows was truly delightful, restful, nurturing. We did not want for anything. Our Cottage was situated privately on the property wrapped in apple blossom trees, the deck overlooked a grassy slope leading down to the dam. Our welcoming committee of chickens and two beautiful peacocks was unique! Once we fed the chickens our vegetable scraps, they would gather around us clucking whenever we appeared. So endearing. The cottage was decorated thoughtfully, it was clean, cosy and the wood fire got a good workout although there were other heating appliances there if you're not crazy about lighting a fire. Kitchen was well stocked, the fresh eggs from the chickens were the best and there was a good supply of orange juice, fresh milk and bread as well as a carafe of red wine to welcome us. We spent some time sauntering around the vast property which has so many citrus trees which were laden with fruit free to pick.. and we did ! If you're looking for a tranquil escape and an immersion in nature, this is the place for it.
