    Peaceful location

Modern, spacious, comfortable suite in a peaceful rainforest setting. Thoughtfully designed and loved the Origins products in the bathroom and shower.

    No lid on the toilet.

Far from the 5-star luxury promised in the photos.

A young guy on Front of House (not the manager) was fantastic – super friendly, down-to-earth, and drove us around in the buggy with a great attitude. The in-room kitchen setup was also a massive plus; having proper cooking facilities and a full-size fridge is rare and genuinely useful. The shuttle bus is a great concept as well, though adding more frequent run times would make it far more practical. The free bikes were a nice gesture too, though eBikes would have been much better for getting around (we ended up hiring some in town).

Our ground floor room (Rivergum 81) in the forest area felt dark, depressing, and neglected. The bright, airy spaces advertised online were nowhere to be found, the couch and bed were uncomfortable, and the shower wall was literally falling apart. The TV also had some weird lines appearing on the screen – unwatchable - even when syncing up our laptops! The restaurant was just as frustrating. Breakfast orders arrived missing items, and we were repeatedly charged despite having prepaid through our booking. When we tried to have dinner on-site, we waited 20 minutes just to see a server after being seated in a mostly empty room. We walked out and ordered UberEats instead. The final straw was receiving an email post checkout asking if we had taken the room iPad, which we left in its holder under the bench. The lack of basic maintenance and attentive service completely undermined the stay. Needs some serious attention from management.

The restaurant staff were not that onto it and not that welcoming
