  Really nice property with good facilities in a fantastic location

  Great facilities and an amazing location. My stay at Cubo was very enjoyable and I found the property to be well appointed; large comfy rooms with all the amenities you could ask for as well as an interesting layout. The location is incredible, due to its close proximity to the ocean you feel a real connection to the elements and then, stepping out on to the terrace, you get the full sensory experience. It's fab ! The host was very helpful as well and I had no problems getting any questions answered promptly. I had to reschedule my stay at short notice due to a medical emergency, and Barbara was incredibly accommodating. I truly commend her for that. Noting that my stay immediately followed a guest who was not overjoyed with the premises. I would counter that I found no issue with the heating once I understood how to operate the portable gas heaters dotted around and definitely did not feel uncomfortable. There is also a fireplace with stocked up log burner that I did not feel the need to use myself. Also, I had no other concerns with the property that the previous guest was at pains to point out. My view remains that Cubo is way above average.

  Disappointing Stay – Unacceptable Conditions for the Price

  Only the view… pictures are way more better than the house in real life

  Our experience at this accommodation was far from what we expected. We arrived around 10:00 PM to find the apartment extremely cold, around 15°C, despite the wall-mounted heaters already being on. Unfortunately, these heaters were completely ineffective, more decorative than functional. Luckily, we found some blankets, so we bundled up and tried to survive the night. We were traveling with our 1.5-year-old daughter, who is still breastfed, which made the cold even more unbearable. Breastfeeding requires some degree of undressing, and in these conditions, it was extremely uncomfortable and a real health risk. Beyond the cold, the apartment had a stale, unpleasant smell, which we only understood on the last day—the place was full of mold. Had we noticed it earlier, we would have left immediately. On the second day, we received gas heaters, which helped with the cold but created a new issue: they consumed oxygen, forcing us to constantly move them between rooms and keep the air circulating to avoid suffocation. This made our stay incredibly stressful and exhausting. We tried to communicate with the host and request a partial refund, but they were completely uncooperative—not even offering an apology for these serious issues. This is absolutely unacceptable. Some additional red flags: • Payment had to be made via bank transfer, not through Booking.com, which felt suspicious. • The host tried to overcharge us by €14 beyond the listed price. • The beds were too soft and uncomfortable, the wardrobes were old and falling apart, and the bathroom mirror was rusting—the entire apartment badly needs renovation. The view from the terrace is stunning, but that alone does not justify the high price. We felt like we were completely overcharged for a place in this condition. Maybe in the summer months, mold isn’t a big issue, which could explain some positive reviews, but from late summer to early summer, I strongly discourage anyone from staying here.

  Exceptional

  Very cozy and clean house with all the facilities and great location. Supermarket, restaurants, beach are easy to access 1-2min by walking. Large terrace with amazing view! Thanks to the host for the wonderful time spent in the house.
