Cuckoos Rock - A great place to stay
Dolly was a great host. The view from the cottage was amazing. The cottage itself had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable, and I would book again!

Great house with everything we needed
Beautiful house spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Location is amazing, beautiful walks , we saw stags outside on the morning we were leaving .

Lovely decorated house in a beautuful location.
Lovely accomodation. Great scenic location. Perfect for a chilled break. Could hear the cuckoo every day and also had a visit from the deer! Dolly was a great host, left a nice welcome basket and kept in touch. Would love to go back.

Gorgeous!
We stayed in this house in May, and it was fantastic! The house itself is exceptionally cozy, very well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. It is situated in a very quiet location, about 20 minutes off the main road along a very lightly traveled single-track road; the view from the well-kept grounds is lovely and changes constantly with the weather and the light. The beds are very comfortable and fitted with high-quality linens. The towels are also excellent, and the living room is cozy and well-appointed. When it’s cold, the house is very easy to heat. The owner—an incredibly friendly and charming lady—was at the house when we arrived. We were treated to delicious homemade scones, cookies, and other goodies. The area is incredibly peaceful; the only sounds are the cuckoo calling from dawn till dusk (in May) and the bleating of young lambs. In short: it is an idyllic setting—something we had hoped for based on the photos, but the reality exceeded our expectations. Our thanks go to Dolly for everything! We can highly recommend this house in every respect!
