  Book with caution

  I booked the deluxe double room. Was shown to a room which to be honest was like staying in a shed and the pictures of the room matched the pictures on booking.com budget room (despite staff saying that it wasn't as the budget room had a shared bathroom). This was my last 2 days after a busy 2 week stay in Uganda and so was tired on arrival and so just slept as just thought I had made a bad booking choice. There was nothing deluxe about the room at all. No shower curtain for the shower, really noisy sliding doors resembling something you would find in your garden greenhouse (the room even had a padlock that you would use on a locker), a sink in the bedroom whose cupboard door wouldn't even shut. The next day on checking booking.com I came to realise that I was definitely not in the room that I had booked which advised that I should have a hot tub and balcony. On coming back from an early morning tour I mentioned this to staff for the first time, who said that they were actually going to offer to change the room (did they actually know that it wasn't a great room). They maintained that the room was a deluxe room and that they didn't actually have a room with a bath and also that the room with the balcony had someone in it and had for days even though this was the room that I had booked). Staff advised that they had contacted booking.com as the pictures of our room shouldn't have been on the budget section and gave us a complimentary airport transfer. The room we were moved to was significantly better but still not the room that I had booked. It had proper doors and better floors. On a more positive note, staff were friendly and the gardens nice. Mosquito nets were also completely intact.

  Pleasant atmosphere, comfortable rooms, very competent staff

  We stayed at Cyad Guesthouse for a weekend. This lovely accommodation was recommended to me by my safari tour operator and I was very satisfied. Our three rooms were comfortable and spacious, the bathrooms are large and very clean. I would like to highlight the always friendly and helpful staff. I particularly called on Salim for various matters. He was always courteous and helpful to us. The garden of the house and the surrounding area are attractive, Coco Beach is within walking distance. I can thoroughly recommend this house.

  Just can’t wait to stay here again when I visit Uganda!!!

  It is the most peaceful place and well kept grounds. My room was great, slept well and loved the accommodations. Free Breakfast and it was so delicious I should have paid for it. I enjoyed the people serving me at the front desk and for breakfast. They treated me like a KING.

  Well situated huest house

  This house guest is well situated in the city of Entebbe. The personal is very kind and nice and looks well after you. The food was very good as well. Overall a very pleasant stay with spacious rooms and hot water with pressure. Thanks to all the employees for making this stay great, we definitely recommend it!

  Tidy and VFM

  Value for money. Small and comfy beds. Very good tasty breakfast and on time for a pre-scheduled check-out time. Location wise, it is decent within walking distance of a couple of private beaches. Only issue, more from a personal note, is the lack of an air conditioner or perhaps a bigger fan. The small fan in a corner of the room keeps the room rather uncomfortably warm. Only wish, this finds a mention on sites like Booking.com etc whilst confining the booking. However, the staff there is super friendly and accommodating of small request.
