    We loved the cottage. Warm and cozy with the lovely fire. Short walk to the shops. Stunning mountain views. Everything we needed.

    They had a coffee pod machine but no pods. For the $$ they should have had pods. Also add handee towels or napkins would be great

    Great house and location with nice outlook with partial views of the lake.

    Great location and very easy walk to town and supermarket. good parking and gear storage. Very warm with fireplace. Very good wood supply.

    Minor items: The dishwasher didn't always finish its cycle. It was still full of water when we arrived, and sometimes we had the same problem. No instruction manual for the dishwasher anywhere and the instructions in the house manual are too basic. For the price of the property the dishwasher was very cheap and didn't do a great job. We had a power outage (beyond the control of the hosts) and we had to plan around this - with the day changing. so we left the house for the day.

    Quiet house in Tekapo

    Very quiet spot but not too far from the centre of Tekapo. The views from the place are incredible and was a good little location to base ourselves from. Appreciated the fireplace and heating in the bedrooms which made a big difference.

    We only used 3 of the rooms (4 people) so had space to put our bags in the last one but might get tight with more people.
