  A superb apartment with an attentive host located in a picturesque village

  We had a thoroughly relaxing stay at D&G apartment. Vanessa, our host, ensured that all our needs were met and offered many useful tips about where to go and places to eat. She was also very generous with the food and drink she had provided on our arrival. The apartment itself is even more spacious in real life compared to the online photos. We were impressed with how the needs of the guests have been considered at all levels ranging from the layout and quality of the furniture and fittings used - including an excellent hair dryer and an abundant supply of clean towels to little touches like providing a sewing repair kit. The style and function of the furniture and fittings installed also meant that the apartment was very easy to keep clean and this too meant we could quickly relax into our vacation. We’re so pleased that we chose Karia as our base for exploring Lefkada. It is a delightful working village nestled in the mountains that provides all the necessary services that guests would want. We therefore recommend D&G apartment without reservation.

  Some of the streets in Karia are hilly and in places quite narrow to traverse. I would recommend a compact SUV as a preferred hire car that also has the added clearance to cope with the uneven road surfaces. Be mindful too that most of the restaurants and other eateries in the village close down from the 1st week of October onwards

  We absolutely recommend this wonderful place and will come back!

  The property was really very clean (very important for our family). We were impressed by how big and clean the apartment is! Our host was really very kind and helpful during our stay. She has provided all the small things we eventually may need. We had everything we needed- even milk for the coffee and dental kits! Our host made our stay perfect and even helped us with a very unpleasant situation with our car. Because of her the problem was fixed for less than 24 hours! We enjoyed our stay in D&G apartment very much! Thank you , Vanessa!🫶🏻

  Gazde faine, priveliște frumoasă, mobilier nou, paturi confortabile

  Neplacerile au fost legate de stradutele foarte inguste pentru un Van insa proprietatea in sine clar ca nu are nicio vina :)

  Die schönste Unterkunft, in der wir je übernachtet haben

  Gleich zu Beginn muss ich sagen, dass dies wahrscheinlich die schönste Unterkunft war, die wir über Booking.com gebucht haben. Drei separate Zimmer, jedes mit eigenem Zugang zur Terrasse. Es gibt übrigens auch drei Terrassen. Zwei Zimmer teilen sich eine Terrasse, eines hat eine kleine separate Terrasse, und es gibt außerdem eine große Terrasse mit Zugang von der Küche und dem Wohnzimmer. Zusätzlich gibt es zwei Badezimmer, jeweils mit Dusche, Waschbecken und WC. Alles ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. In der Küche findet man nicht nur alles, was man sich vorstellen kann, sondern auch Lebensmittel, Tee, Kaffee, Honig, Marmeladen, Sandwichbrot – einfach alles, was man braucht. Alles ist blitzsauber und neu. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang. Das Stadtzentrum mit einigen Restaurants, einem Geschäft, einer Bäckerei und Bars ist nur fünf Gehminuten entfernt. Ich möchte mich ganz besonders bei Vanessa bedanken, die uns so herzlich aufgenommen hat. Wir haben uns auf unseren Reisen noch nie so wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank für alles!

  An dieser Unterkunft gibt es wirklich nichts auszusetzen.
