    Property was close to all and that was about it.

    Very disappointed in this “luxury suite.” The listing describes a second-floor suite, but reaching it involves three flights of stairs. Entry is unnecessarily complicated, with four doors and a large gate, all with difficult locks. This should have been clearly explained before booking. The suite looked dated and poorly maintained compared with the photos. Worse, the toilet was dirty on arrival, appeared not to have been cleaned after the previous guest, ran continuously and did not flush properly. Before our arrival, the host sent frequent texts and voice messages, yet no one was there to greet us. Someone other than the host eventually arrived and rushed through explaining the complicated entry process. When I later contacted the host about the toilet’s cleanliness and plumbing problems, I received no further replies. The host also complained that we were too loud and please keep it down when we leave in the morning and this was a rate of 230 a night! The host also helped arrange an evening tour through a friend. Although we asked about the price, it was not provided before we were asked to confirm. We were subsequently quoted €210 per person—or €180 per person if paying cash—for a roughly 90-minute tour of a few sites. We felt this was excessive, and the lack of upfront pricing was concerning. Between the access difficulties, cleanliness issues, faulty toilet and lack of response when we needed help, this fell well short of what we expected from accommodation advertised as a luxury suite.
