    Excellent location, especially for events like Azores Ultra Blue Trail. Everything is close by. Spacious, bright apartment with all essentials. Nice lighting, good furniture, well designed and welcoming overall. Good bathroom and cooking space. Nice inner courtyard with sky views. Quiet area overall. Waste sorting available. Strong reliable water heater.

    Bedroom under the roof can get warm with windows closed, and with windows open there may be mosquitoes.

    Spotless, comfortable house in a great location

    This fabulous location, very central, was perfect for our New Year’s stay. There was a nearby café for those needing an espresso or two in the morning. The house was clean and well-equipped, with a kitchen and bathroom that were both spotless. (On the plus side, the host even provided a complimentary wine bottle.) Since it was winter, we didn’t use the back patio (which would have been great in the summer), but we did use the laundry machine in the back. It worked well. The room was upstairs, which wasn’t a problem for us, but it might be an issue for older people or those with reduced mobility. The bed was a queen, which was a bit smaller than we prefer (we have a king at home), but the mattress was comfortable for our more than a week stay.

    We didn’t have any complaints. The heater was broken, but the hosts provided a smaller one that worked well the same day. We would have enjoyed an extra comfy chair nearby the sofa (which would make the resting room more pleasant) and a credenza to keep some stuff on the go.
