    Excellent place to stay while walking Hadrian's Wall

    Breakfast was excellent - we stayed in a number of b&bs and hotels during our walking holiday and this was the nicest breakfast. The lady running this B&B was very friendly and helpful. Nice quiet place.

    A homely bit of luxury on our walking holiday

    Absolutely beautiful B&B which was a welcome bit of luxury just over half way through our Hadrian’s Wall path walk from East to West. We had a wonderful host in Claire who provides a delicious fresh breakfast (the shakshuka was just perfect!) and really lovely to see how she supports and promotes local producers. We had dinner at the local community pub then came back to enjoy a G&T in the sun from the honesty bar back at Dacre House. We truly didn’t want to leave!

    There is nothing bad to say about this place! We loved it.
