A lovely cosy base to explore a beautiful area.

Lovely cottage tucked away from the world. Shower in the main bedroom was brilliant powerful and relaxing. The cottage heated up brilliant when it was needed.

We had not realised it was made up of other properties so that was disappointing. Didn’t use the facilities such as gym or hot tub because they were shared facilities and there was no information about hygiene or how these facilities would be shared or indeed when they were cleaned. Photos made it look like the facilities were private for the cottage we booked so that was really disappointing. All the doors in the cottage need oiling as they squeak which meant we had to leave doors open especially at night. The kitchen facilities equipment needs looking at again lots of plates and glasses but not enough chopping boards or utensils to prepare food from scratch. The grill was a massive issue for us as we couldn’t work out how to attach the handle. The hob has a crack in it so we had to be really careful when cleaning it as it is sharp. This is a health and safety risk as it could result in a guest being cut. Could not find instructions on how to use the cooker and it’s not simple if used to having gas. Due to the fact the washing is inter grated the rubber seal is black which smells and it was full of plastic bags on inspection. Tumble drier needs a really good clean out as it was filled with bits. The television in the bedroom doesn’t always pick up the WiFi so most of the week it couldn’t be used. WiFi down that end of the cottage is really poor. We had a power cut during the week and it took quite a while to get the main tv back in line as there are no instructions how to do this without WiFi we struggled to google the tv set up. Overwhelmed with the number of cushions in the property did not know what to do with them all. The decor needs updating to reflect the area in which the cottage is based and also the name of the cottage.

    Perfect location exceptional facilities

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful cottage in Bambrough. Brilliant location. We drove into Bamburgh took 4 mins. 20 minutes accross a couple of field. Really good walk. Very dog friendly. Comunal hot tub ( brilliant ) tennis court gym play area and best of all a table tennis room. Loved every minute. We did use the log burner, so romantic. Facilities inside the cortage are great! Comfy beds very very clean. Lots of hot water. Even a bath 🛀 The bag of goodies. Coffee. Tea. Sugar. Local cheese 🧀 and a voucher for a lb of delicious sausages Bin bags dishwasher tablets …this family run business thought of everything!!! Free parking ! Free wifi !!! 🛜 Thank you we will definitely return ! Ps we loved the donkeys and the little dog it’s also perfect for star gazing !!!

Great cottage. Excellent location. All good !!

This three bed cottage is great ! 20 minutes walk through some fields ( not suitable for disabled as use styles ) but 3 mins in car to Main Street Bamburgh. Hot tub that’s shared with other guests is clean. Hot and very high speck. Table tennis table and gym great entertainment! Garden area is gated off so very dog friendly.

Relaxing time with family exploring the local area

The cottage was exactly what we were hoping for. Everything neat and tidy and well equipped. Located as we expected - very quiet (apart from early arrival of garbage truck - necessary I know!). Are thinking about booking next year for the whole family.

Silly thing - there was no glass recycling bin.

Overall we had a lovely stay and weather was good.

    Location excellent

The en-suite toilet had no extractor and toilet needed to be fully cleaned.
