    Beautiful guest house with fantastic location. Bed was very comfy and breakfast was lovely! Host is kind and available if needed.

    I have been very happy of my stay. The room was cosy, very clean and well equipped with electric kettle, teas etc. Everything is well organised, thanks to Mike who is a very nice and kind owner. Value for money undoubtedly, even it exceeded my expectations. Super.

    Basically nothing. I would not mind an early slot for breakfast, due to my habit of waking up early. But I understand this may be not feasible and it is not something that changes my overall opinion.

    I enjoyed my stay in peace and quiet. I liked the additional little touches such as the re-filled water bottle each day, the information on places to see.

    There was nothing I disliked.

    Fab-u-lous stay in York

    Loved the location, just off "Bishy" Street, which is lined with fabulous independent shops, bars, cafés and restaurants. Wonderfully vibrant. Just a few minutes walk to the centre of York. Mike is an excellent host and cooks a great breakfast. He's very knowledgeable about the area and is full of recommendations for places to visit.
