    A gem in a Karoo town

    Daisy cottage is the most beautifully maintained older private property that we have ever stayed in. The kitchen was modern and equipped with everything needed. We were 2 couples and the cottage was a perfect base from which to explore Nieu-Bethesda . An added bonus was the magnificent garden with the roses in full bloom. The caretaker, Lizelle, was in contact from the start with info on key collection as well as suggestions on what to see in the area and she came to introduce herself just after we arrived.

    Just be aware that with Daisy Cottage being an older house, the second bathroom is in an outbuilding but again, modern and clean.

    A lovely, peaceful hideaway

    A warm beautiful home from home beautifully decorated in a large garden with all the comforts . The fireplace, vinyl music (60, 70, 80th…), handpicked books and games changed the wet, cold stay into a pleasant experience. Very happy to come back !!
